The Orange Carpet Visa Facility (OCVF) is a fast-track visa program designed for frequent business travellers from the UK who regularly visit the Netherlands. This facility simplifies the Schengen visa application process, providing multiple-entry short-stay visas for eligible employees of registered companies.

Who Can Apply?

  • Business travellers who need frequent short-stay Schengen visas.
  • Employees of companies registered with the Netherlands Embassy under the Orange Carpet Visa Facility (OCVF).
  • Companies based in the UK that have officially enrolled in the program.

Important:

Processing Time

  • Applications can be submitted up to 6 months before travel.
  • Standard processing time is 15 calendar days.
  • Your passport will be retained during the process.

Documents Required – Netherlands Orange Carpet Visa

Passport & Travel Documents

  • Signed passport (original + copy), meeting the following criteria:
    • At least 2 blank pages.
    • Valid for at least 90 days beyond the return date from the Schengen area.
    • Issued within the last 10 years (including extended passports).

Visa Application Form

  • A completed and signed Schengen visa application form with:
    • Two signatures.
    • Signature matching the passport.

Photograph requirements

  • Must meet Dutch photo requirements:
    • Taken within the last 6 months.
    • High-quality, sharp, and color.
    • 35mm x 45mm with appropriate face dimensions.
    • Neutral expression, eyes looking forward, mouth closed.
    • No head coverings unless for religious reasons.

UK Residency

One of the following documents must be provided:

  • A UK eVisa printout from UKVI with a valid share code.
  • A Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) valid for at least one month beyond your Schengen departure (valid until March 31, 2025).
  • An EU Settlement Scheme Biometric Residence Card (EUSS BRC) valid for at least one month beyond Schengen departure (valid until March 31, 2025).

Business Verification Documents

  • Letter from the company, signed by a designated signatory, confirming:
    • Applicant’s employment status and purpose of travel.
    • The company’s registration in the UK.
    • Names of all immediate family members (if applicable).
  • Orange Carpet registration code must be included on the letter or application form.

Additional Information

  • Only UK-based companies registered with the Netherlands Embassy can apply via OCVF in London.
  • Companies registered in another country for OCVF cannot apply in London.
  • Incomplete applications may result in delays or rejections.
